Liverpool midfielder Abdi Sharif has signed his first professional contract with the Reds.
The 18-year-old has been at the club since the age of six and was part of Barry Lewtas' Under-18 side last term, helping the young Reds to the FA Youth Cup trophy in April.
Sharif scored from the spot for Lewtas' side to see off Manchester City on penalties at the Etihad Campus as Liverpool lifted the cup for the first time in 12 years back on April 25.
